Vice President for Health
Dan McCarron serves as BITS’ Vice-President for Health. Mr. McCarron drives the strategic direction, growth, planning and performance of a team responsible for delivering mission-critical IT solutions and professional services. He approaches challenges with an eye toward health outcomes: improving health care delivery, reducing costs, enhancing patient safety, reducing waste and duplication, improving quality of care, and improving patient and provider satisfaction.
During his prior Marine Corps 25 year career, Dan held a number of operational and staff positions, including Chief Central Command, Joint Operations Division, Joint Staff; Joint Service Planner, Headquarters Marine Corps; Commanding Officer, Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 264 (REIN); Commanding Officer, Headquarter and Headquarters Squadron; Class Desk, Presidential Helicopters; and finally a tour at HMX-1 providing Presidential support. He retired in 2005 and joined WBB. Mr. McCarron left WBB, as the Vice President of the Federal and Commercial Business Sector, to join BITS.
Mr. McCarron holds two masters: Military Studies, and Strategic Studies.
